Vintage Fish Brooch

An older very nice vintage fish brooch or pin that is sterling silver 925 with abalone inlay. Believe this piece is pre eagle mark, is quite old. There is some wear / cracking to abalone but it is all present, good condition for it’s age and still completely wearable or would be a great collector piece, pics best description and show close ups of the inlay.

  • Measures: Overall height 1 1/2 inches, 2 inches wide
  • Weight: 5.7 grams
  • Markings: Sterling Mexico 925, Mexico Silver, and MR which I believe is the mark of Melicio Rodriguez but can not be absolutely sure. Melicipo Rodriguez was a smith for Rancho Alegre and Margot de Taxco

All Sterling Silver and Gold items are tested for metal purity and guaranteed to be authentic, whether marked or not. All stones are electronically tested.
